Being born and bred here does not make us forget the uniqueness of our Island. As George Berkeley said: “the views of the Island are very diverse: there are some trees and vineyards covering the horizon here, a wide perspective there, a valley crowned by fertile hills with scattered white houses. (…). Somewhere a smell of smoke and sulfur rises from the beach. Elsewhere, you just have to make a hole to see boiling water spring out of it”. Above and under the sea, Ischia still preserves that undeniable charm which has always made it a beloved destination for tourists from all over the world.
